![]() ![]() He said something about needing a volume license for each individual machine and then no product key or sticker was ever required as long as you had enough volume license to cover every machine? I've never heard of this. The other part of licensing this means it needs to be installed over a machine that has an OEM(or retail?) key on it. Since VL media is used to generate the image, you use the VL key for activation. The VL is used to generate a single golden image to be deployed. I should only need one volume license for my new Windows 10 machines. The COA is no longer required just the proof of purchase. Just to verify, we still need a retail key or an oem key on a new pc to install a custom image with a volume license, right? All I need along side that is proof of purchase with that pc and original oem product key. This cleared up a majority of my questions. ![]()
